Modest Wholesale is a Turkish modest fashion wholesale supplier working manufacturer direct from Istanbul. This page walks a first-time buyer through the whole process, from opening the catalogue to the moment a parcel leaves our workroom. If you have bought wholesale clothing from Turkey before, most of it will feel familiar. If you are new to it, the one idea worth learning properly is the size series, because it is what our minimum wholesale order is built on.
Who this is for
Our buyers are boutique owners, online store owners and retailers stocking modest wear for their own customers. We sell business to business, which means every price you see is a manufacturer direct pricing figure rather than a retail one, and every style is offered in a pack you can resell. If you are building a shop around hijab-friendly daily wear, tesettür occasion wear, or a plus size / büyük beden range, the catalogue is organised to make that straightforward.
Step 1 — Browse the catalogue
Start with the collections. Each one is a buying category rather than a marketing label, so you can plan a balanced first order rather than picking at random:
- wholesale modest dresses for everyday and daily modest dresses
- wholesale evening dresses for abiye, occasion and wedding-guest pieces
- wholesale tunics for layering pieces that sell all year
- wholesale abayas for abaya and ferace styles
- wholesale two-piece sets for takım and co-ord two-piece sets
- wholesale denim and wholesale knitwear for seasonal weight and texture
- wholesale floral dresses for printed and patterned dresses
- new arrivals to see what has just come off the production line
Every product page shows the fabric description, the colour, the size run and the price. Read the size run carefully — it tells you how many garments are in that style's pack.
Step 2 — Understand what a size series is
A size series is one full size run of a single style, packed together and sold as a unit. In practice that means one garment per size: if a tunic runs in four sizes, the series contains four garments, one of each. You are not buying four of the same size, and you are not buying single pieces. You are buying a ready-to-hang rail of one style covering the sizes your customers actually walk in with.
Series sizes are not identical across the catalogue. Depending on how a garment is graded you will find three, four, five, six, seven and eight-piece runs, with individual sizes ranging from 36 up to 54. The product page is always the authority on what a given style contains. There is a fuller explanation, including worked examples, on our size series and minimum order page.
Step 3 — Read the price correctly
This is the single most common point of confusion, so it is worth stating plainly: prices are shown per piece and charged per full series. A price of $10.00 on a tunic that runs in a four-piece series means the series costs $40.00. The per-piece figure is there because it is the number you need for your own margin maths; the series total is what appears on the order. Multiply the per-piece price by the number of pieces in the run and you have the line cost.
Step 4 — Place your wholesale order
Add one series per style you want to stock. You can combine as many different styles as you like in a single wholesale order — a few dresses, a couple of tunics, an abaya, a knit — and each one is counted as its own pack. Because the minimum wholesale order is a single pack per style, you can spread a modest budget across a wide assortment instead of committing deeply to one silhouette. That is the whole point of the model, and it is why the MOQ question rarely blocks a new boutique.
Anything that depends on your specific order — shipping cost, or a quotation for bulk order quantities beyond a single series per style — is confirmed with our team rather than assumed. Ask before you finalise and you will have a firm answer to work with.
Step 5 — Order preparation in Istanbul
Once your order is confirmed it goes to our team in Istanbul. Orders are prepared within 1–2 business days. Preparation means pulling each style, checking the garments in the series, and packing them for export. Working direct from Istanbul is what keeps that window short: the stock, the production and the packing bench are in the same city, so nothing waits on a third-party warehouse.
Step 6 — Dispatch and delivery
We offer worldwide shipping, tracked, from Istanbul. Shipping is quoted per order because it depends on your destination and the weight of what you have bought — a single tunic series and a twelve-style opening order are not the same parcel. Tell us where you are and roughly what you are ordering and we will quote it. Full detail is on the shipping and delivery page.
After the first order
The size series model is designed to be iterative. Buy one pack of a style, put it on the rail, and let your customers tell you which of your bets were right. Reorder the winners, drop the rest, and your second order is sharper than your first. Boutiques that use the catalogue this way tend to build a stock profile that reflects their own street rather than someone else's forecast.

Frequently asked questions
How do I place a wholesale order?
Browse the collections, choose the styles you want, and add one size series of each to your order. A size series is one full size run of that style, so one pack covers several sizes. Confirm the order with our team, and it is prepared in Istanbul within 1-2 business days before being dispatched with tracked worldwide shipping.
Are prices shown per piece or per series?
Prices are displayed per piece and charged per full series. To work out the cost of a line, multiply the per-piece price by the number of garments in that style's size run. A $10.00 per-piece tunic in a four-piece series is $40.00 for the pack. The per-piece figure is the number you use for your own retail margin.
What is the minimum wholesale order?
The minimum is one full size series per style. There is no requirement to take multiple packs of the same style, which is what keeps our MOQ low for boutiques and small online stores. You can order one pack of one style, or one pack each of twenty styles, depending on how wide you want your opening assortment to be.
Can I mix different styles in the same order?
Yes. Most buyers do. Each style is counted as its own size series, so you can combine dresses, tunics, abayas, denim and knitwear in a single wholesale order. This is the usual way boutiques test a broad assortment on a controlled budget before committing to a bulk order of any one style.
How long does it take to prepare my order?
Orders are prepared within 1-2 business days at our workroom in Istanbul. Preparation covers pulling each style, checking the garments in the series and packing them for export. The parcel is dispatched once preparation is complete and the shipping arrangement for your order is confirmed.
Do you ship to my country, and what does it cost?
We offer tracked worldwide shipping from Istanbul. Cost is quoted per order rather than published as a flat rate, because it depends on the destination and the weight of your specific order. Tell us your country and roughly what you plan to buy and we will quote the shipping for you before you commit.
Can I sell your products under my own brand?
Yes. Private label modest clothing is available on our original Istanbul designs, with custom woven labels, hang tags and packaging carrying your own brand. It is the usual route for a boutique that wants its own label without running a factory. Details are on our private label page, and the terms of a specific project are agreed with our team.
How do I open a wholesale account?
Get in touch through our contact page with your business name, where you are based, the categories you want to stock and any private label or bulk order questions you have. We work business to business with boutique owners, online store owners and retailers, so the more we know about your shop the more useful our first reply will be.
