Turkish sizing runs on even numbers — 36, 38, 40 and upward — and it is the standard our entire catalogue is cut to. If you or your customers usually shop UK, US or EU labels, use the conversion chart above rather than guessing: a Turkish 42 is a UK 14 and a US 10, not the 42 you might expect from an Italian label.
Modest wear also fits differently from mainstream ready-to-wear. Abayas, tunics, capes and evening dresses are cut with generous ease through the bust, sleeve and hip so the garment drapes rather than clings, and hems sit long by design. That means the body measurements in this modest fashion size guide are what matter — measure the person, not a favourite dress — and it is normal for a modest garment to feel roomier than a high-street piece in the same size.
Our wholesale modest clothing is sold as a wholesale size series: one garment per size across a style's full run, so a boutique receives a complete, hangable rail in one order instead of a pile of mediums. Runs vary by model — a standard run might be 38–46, while plus size / büyük beden models often run 46–56 — and the exact sizes in each series are listed on the product page.
For boutique buyers advising their own customers: ask for bust, waist and hip in centimetres, read across the chart, and where a measurement falls between two sizes recommend the larger. It is far easier to take a modest garment in at the waist than to find extra fabric that was never cut.
